Currently, we are actively seeking Trade Qualified Diesel Fitters to join various clients based in Townsville for an immediate start!

About The Job:

1. Trade Qualified Diesel Fitters working on highway trucks:

• Workshop Based
• Conducting general servicing and maintenance on highway trucks - Western Star, Mac, Detroit, Scania, Volvo, Kenworths, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
• Performing breakdown repairs promptly and effectively.
• Performing hydraulics & diagnostic work
• Collaborating with clients and other stakeholders to address any concerns or requests promptly, maintaining strong professional relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

2. Trade Qualified Diesel Fitters working on civil construction machines:

• Workshop and Site Based
• Conducting general servicing and maintenance on civil construction machines - Loaders, Excavators, Graders, Dozers, Posi Tracks.
• Responding promptly to breakdowns and conducting on-site repairs when necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to construction activities.
• Undertaking workshop-based tasks, including diagnostics and repairs, to ensure machinery meets operational standards and safety requirements.

The successful applicant must have

• Current drivers' licence and reliable transport
• Certificate 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
• Forklift Licence - advantageous
• Be able to pass pre-employment medical & drug screen
• Ability to work in a high volume team environment etc.
