Electrical and Mechanical Crane Technicians

HAYNES is currently seeking experienced electrical and mechanical crane technicians for the Mackay region!

Our client is a local business that has built a high reputation within the industry and they are currently seeking multiple trades personnel to join their ever growing team.

To be considered for the role you must have the following skills/attributes:

• Trade Qualified (Mechanical Fitter & or Electrical/Fitter Mechanic)
• Current C Class Licence
• High Risk Licence - Work Platform (WP)
• Working at Heights Certificate (within the last 2 years)
• Current LVR/CPR (electricians only)
• Ability to pass pre-employment medicals including functional, drug & alcohol testing
• Dalrymple Bay and Hay Point Site Inductions - highly advantageous
• Previous crane technician experience - highly advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems

On offer to the successful applicants:

• Above award hourly rate on offer ($62.50-$82.50 casual dependent on experience)
• Various rosters depending on project
• Town | Mon to Thurs 7.30am to 4.00pm & Fri 7.30am to 2.00pm
• Site 1 | Mon to Thurs 6.00am to 4.00pm
• Site 2 | Lifestyle Roster - all day shift - 6.15am to 4.45pm
• Temp to Perm opportunities
• Vehicle provided to each trades personnel
