HR Advisor

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will provide people related advice and strategic direction to the Service Leadership group and the broader Austchrome team. Every day will be varied; offering new and exciting challenges and give you a real sense of job satisfaction.

This position core purpose will be focused on fostering the workplace culture whilst providing end to end people and culture support service to create a positive employee experience.

You will:

• Communicate, demonstrate and ensure commitment to AustChrome purpose and values and operational priorities
• Promote organisational culture in line with company values, principles and legislative intent
• Provide HR advise to the leadership team and employees
• Provide support in investigations, conflict resolution, performance management and Enterprise Agreement interpretation
• Provide advice on company policies and procedures
• Conduct general employee role changes, employment contract changes and other required reporting requirements

You will also bring:

• Tertiary Education in Human Resources or equivalent
• Proven experience in successfully leading, motivating and directing teams to achieve goals working within a diverse workforce
• Proven experience in a medium to large resource enterprise with strong knowledge of working within an Enterprise Agreement
• Intermediate computer skills with experience in Microsoft Suite
• Demonstrated capacity to develop practical, innovative solutions to enhance employee satisfaction
• Exceptional communication (verbal and written), influencing and relationship building skills.
