About the role:

We are currently seeking applications from suitably Qualified Hydraulic Fitter/ Diesel Fitter for an immediate start. This is a Mackay based role, however, will require travel using the company ute to site in the Bowen Basin and stay overnight. This position requires good communication, solid knowledge in relation to hydraulics, and solution-based thinking.

On-site you may be required to inspect customer's hydraulics, audit them, and provide solutions to the client. Tasks are but limited to repair and service hydraulic machine jacks, rebuilding of mechanical pumps and motors, greasing of pumps, and repairs of pneumatic air tools. The successful candidate would have a high level of communication and be extremely knowledgeable to provide solutions to the clients.

Does this look like you?

  • Trade Qualified Fitter/ Diesel Fitter
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Service and repair hydraulic floor jacks (to lift up to 200T) – some brands include SDL and EDMO
  • Rebuilding of pumps and motors, greasing of pumps, and using air tools
  • Standard 11 and Coalboard medical (desired – along with BMA Core and Site Specific Inductions – RII Repair Equipment)
  • Demonstrate a high level of personal commitment to safety and follow standard work practices
  • Passionate about the quality of work and has a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrates initiative and has a continuous improvement mindset
  • Actively role models’ values, work ethic and operates well in a team environment
