About the role

  • Provide subject matter expert advice, insight and guidance on all Health, Safety and Environment matters.
  • Champion the values of our approach to Health, Safety and Environment across all aspects of the organisation.
  • Provide leadership support to ensure the organisation adopts all practices within our Heath, Safety and Environment management systems.

This role requires a highly motivated individual and the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining our HSE management systems and practices so they are in complete sync with our Purpose, Values and Principles.
  • Maintaining documents as set out in the Company Document and Data Management Standard.
  • Applying governance and controls so they meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Conducting incident investigations.
  • Facilitating workplace rehabilitation for injured workers in consultation with medical professionals.
  • Identifying and reporting opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.

About You:

The successful candidate will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Strong computer acumen
  • Exposure to HSE computer systems (Rapid, ASNA, SharePoint, Noggin etc)
  • Certificate IV in Health and Safety - or currently studying
  • Return to Work Certificate - highly regarded
  • An understanding and ability to maintain Quality - 9001 quality system
  • Current drivers licence and reliable transport
